"Let us introduce ourselves.
Our names are Regina Walters and Shawna Nicholls. In the Summer
of 2003 we opened a new business here in Raytown and named it WalNic's
Place. The "Wal" and
the "Nics" from each of our last names. We felt there was
a need in Raytown for a place for the people of our community to
gather for both personal & neighborhood activities. Many Raytown
citizens were traveling to other cities for their banquet hall needs.
We felt WalNic's Place would make a wonderful addition and bring a much
needed service to our community"

Since it's opening
in the summer of 2003 WalNic's Place has been the site where many
lifetime memories have been made. The banquet facility is available
to the community to rent for weddings, bridal showers, graduation
parties, wedding anniversaries or just about any other kind of gathering.
WalNic's Place could best be described as an affordable, convenient,
and friendly banquet hall but as you will see, we are much more than

WalNic's Place is proud to offer Youth Dances for our local 6th, 7th
and 8th graders. Adult chaperones, Raytown police officers and our
own paid security help us provide a safe and fun environment for all
